AmberVault Withdrawals Explained
Withdrawing bitcoin from your AmberVault is simple and secure. Provide the recipient on-chain Bitcoin address, follow the required authorisation steps, and we will handle the withdrawal from our secure multi-signature cold storage. Below is a step-by-step guide to assist you through the process.
Before you start: Make sure you have your vault passphrase ready (if applicable). If you want to withdraw bitcoin to your AmberApp Bitcoin Wallet, copy the on-chain receive address in advance.
Steps to Withdraw Bitcoin from AmberVault
On your dashboard, tap the blue floating action button in the bottom-right corner.
From the pop-up menu, choose the Vault option.
Tap withdraw and enter your recipient's Bitcoin address.
Input the amount of bitcoin you wish to withdraw, then tap next.
Enter your Vault passphrase (if applicable).
Enter the verification code sent to your email.
Review the transaction details and confirm your withdrawal.
All vault withdrawals are subject to a minimum 7-day secure delay due to enhanced security measures including manual reviews from our compliance team. You may contact support anytime during this period to cancel your transaction.
