Why didn't I receive my email verification code?

Learn what to check if your verification code hasn't shown up, and what to do if your email provider is affected by a known delivery issue.

Common Reasons You Might Be Missing Your Code

If your code hasn't arrived, try these steps first:

  1. Check your spam or junk folder. Verification emails occasionally get filtered there.

  2. Confirm your registered email address is correct, with no typos.

  3. Wait a few minutes. Delivery can occasionally be delayed.

  4. Request a new code. If your original code has expired, request a fresh one from the login screen.

Known Issue With Some Email Providers

We're aware of a delivery issue affecting a small number of email providers, including:

  • @internode.on.net

  • @iinet.net.au

  • @westnet.com.au

  • @netspace.net.au

  • @ozemail.com.au

  • @tpg.com.au

  • @iprimus.com.au

  • @optusnet.com.au

If your email address ends in one of the above, your email provider may be rejecting our verification emails due to changes on their end. Unfortunately, this is outside our control and we're unable to guarantee delivery to these providers at this time.

How to Fix It

Option 1: Update your registered email address
Switching to a different email provider (like Gmail or Outlook) will resolve this immediately. Contact us and we'll help you update it.

Option 2: Add Amber to your email allow list
Some email providers let you manually allow senders. Adding @amber.app to your "allow list" may resolve the issue, though we can't guarantee it will work for all providers.
