AmberApp is a regulated Bitcoin exchange. To keep the platform secure and compliant with Australian law, we apply limits to trading, Bitcoin transfers, and bank transfers.
How to view your Account Limits
To see your current limits:
Open the app and go to your Account page.
Tap Account Limits.
Your trading limits, bitcoin transfer limits, and bank transfer limits are all shown here.
What influences your limits?
Your limits are determined by a number of factors, including:
Your account verification status
Your account age
Your transaction history and usage patterns
All limits operate on a rolling 30-day basis, meaning they reset progressively rather than on a fixed calendar date.
Need a limit review?
Your limits are dynamic. They're assessed on a rolling basis as part of our compliance protocols, which means they may improve automatically as your account activity and verification status evolve. This is a normal part of how we keep AmberApp secure and compliant for everyone.
If your current limits aren't meeting your needs, contact support and our team will take a look at what's possible for your account.
For large, one-off purchases, our Bespoke Services may be a better fit.
