What is a custom Lightning Address?
A custom Lightning Address is your personalised gateway to effortless Bitcoin transactions—a unique identifier akin to an email address. Craft your own by selecting any available alphanumeric combination, concluding with the '@amber.app' suffix.

How do I set a Lightning Address?
Press 'Account' on the navigation bar
Underneath your account name is a 'Set Lightning Address' button, press this to begin the process
In the input field that appears type your desired address, the '@amber.app' suffix is added by default
Addresses must be between 2 and 20 characters
Addresses must only contain numbers and letters
If an address is taken, the input will display 'That address is taken. Try another.'
If an address is available the input will display 'That address is available!', press 'Next' to continue
Review your custom Lightning Address and swipe to confirm
Your custom Lightning Address is now set! When you return to your 'Account' page you will now see your custom Lightning Address below your account name. Simply press on it to copy it to your clipboard.
Note: Once you set your custom Lightning Address, it cannot be edited or changed.
